Maesela David Dikobo
Founding Managing Partner
Structured & systematic, David is the more pedantic of the founding managing partners of Blackstone. A target driven, stickler for well calibrated Operations; Teams & Systems. Tracks Business Development initiatives like a NASA mission control.
For our current portfolio of companies:
Together with Kabelo Sekele, they co-founded Kasi Lifestyle, a Township Revitalisation Social Enterprise intent on Re-Imagining & Re-Inventing SA Townships. They oversaw the development of the Digital Assets that formed part of the Kasi Lifestyle Eco-system, namely a Business Listing platform; Multivendor Marketplace; two sided-marketplace and a reverse classifieds platform.
Other Entrepreneurial ventures include Black Stone Data & Digital Solutions Pty (Ltd), an integrated ICT solutions provider where David was Co-founder & Director, responsible for Business Development, Strategy & Planning. He played a pivotal role in Blackstone’s operations with Crawford and Company SA, a division of the world’s largest Risk and loss adjusting firm, Crawford and Company International, as well as the JSE Listed Blue Label Telecoms.
David’ corporate career started off as an Executive Financial Planner within the Financial Consultancy Division of the Standard Bank Group, specializing in Investment, Estate, and Retirement Planning. David was subsequently appointed as Regional Sales Manager within SBFC where his KPI’s included Sales Management; Business Administration; Relationship Building; Profitability and Cost Management; Risk Management and Human Resources Management.
David holds a Bcom in Economics & Econometrics from the University of Johannesburg. David also completed his FAIS Regulatory Exams RE5 and RE1 (KI).

Kabelo Sekele
Founding Managing Partner
Long-Term Thinker & blessed with the Gift-of-Long-Suffering…a key entrepreneurial attribute that makes Kabelo a must-have-in-team Partner. Kabelo never fails to play the long game and has the wherewithal to see it through, regardless of how difficult it may be. Fortunately for Blackstone and its current portfolio companies, he has predicted the future almost with the exactitude of a prophet.

Kabelo also serves as a Non-Executive Director for Elenjical Solutions, a niche Capital Markets Technology Consulting business, specializing in derivatives trading and risk management systems.
Together with David Dikobo, they co-founded Kasi Lifestyle, a Township Revitalisation Social Enterprise intent on Re-Imagining & Re-Inventing SA Townships. They oversaw the development of the Digital Assets that formed part of the Kasi Lifestyle Eco-system, namely a Business Listing platform; Multivendor Marketplace; two sided-marketplace and a reverse classifieds platform.
Other Entrepreneurial ventures include Black Stone Data & Digital Solutions Pty (Ltd), an integrated ICT solutions provider.
Kabelo has honed his strategic corporate communications & New Business Development skills at some of South Africa’s leading telecommunications, IT Services, Web & Software services and 3rd Party Claims administration firms at both a strategic Management and leadership level. Kabelo has been fortunate to serve as chairperson of JSE Listed Blue Label Telecoms Employment Equity committee. He’s served as Executive Head of New business development at Crawford and Company SA, a division of the world’s largest Risk and loss adjusting firm, Crawford and Company International. Kabelo has also served as an Associate Client and Multi-Stakeholder Manager at both Dimension Data and EOH.
Kabelo Sekele holds a BA in International relations and Political Science from the University of Pretoria, as well as a qualification in Cyber Security from the University of Cape Town.
