Formerly restructured in 2017 (est. '10), Black Stone Partners (Pty) Ltd is a South African based Equity Partner Firm that invests in and grows Specialized Enterprise Software & Technology Services companies. We invest & actively participate in the growth of our portfolio companies. We leverage our decade+ Experience of being involved in a variety of Start-Ups (incl. Social Enterprises), Large Private Businesses as well as Listed Entities. We have Designed, Built, Operated, Managed and Transferred Projects & Businesses predominantly in the ICT / Finance / Professional Services industries. We have and continue to grow a deep Network of Industry Experts. We bring this Experience & Network to our portfolio companies to save them both Time & School fees.

We focus on three things with each company we invest in i.e. Teams & Systems; Products & Development; and Sales & Marketing. Where necessary and appropriate, we assist &/or drive Capital Raising initiatives. Our focus is in the Software & Tech Services sectors with preferred but not exclusive focus on Mid-Cap sized Growth Stage businesses.
Focus
We hate cliche's but here's one we still advocate for..."Don't drown in the sea of opportunity". It is always tempting to layer on more solutions or increase the number of customer segments in order to close sales. We work with portfolio companies to drill down on that one product/service that solves the clients immediate and meaningful business problem.

The Questions are the Answers. We help portfolio companies answer critical questions about their businesses whilst inculcating an additional &/or alternative Thought Process.
